Schedule It Privacy Policy

What This Policy Covers

This policy describes how Schedule It (operated by BLK Magick Apps) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Schedule It website (scheduleit.blkmagick.app) and the Schedule It Shopify application.

Data We Process

When you use the Schedule It app:

• Shopify shop domain, store identifiers, and plan metadata
• Automation definitions, action payloads, and execution configurations
• Execution statuses, logs, retry metadata, and system events
• Notification settings and email addresses configured by the merchant
• Operational security logs for access and administrative changes

When you use the Schedule It website:

• IP address, browser type, and device information
• Pages visited and referral source
• Contact form submissions (name, email, message)

Schedule It does not collect or store personal data about your store's customers (storefront buyers). Notification emails are merchant-configured staff addresses, never customer addresses.

How We Use Data

• Execute scheduled automations and reversions on your Shopify store
• Deliver execution logs, system status, and analytics within the app
• Send transactional email notifications (completions, failures, reverts)
• Manage billing, usage limits, and account safeguards via Shopify
• Maintain security, performance, and service reliability
• Respond to support requests submitted through contact forms or email

Data Sharing and Processors

We do not sell merchant personal information. Data is shared only with infrastructure and delivery providers required to operate the service, including:

• AWS: cloud hosting, database, and email delivery (SES)
• Shopify: billing, authentication, and API access
• Cloudflare: edge delivery and contact form routing

All providers are required to handle data securely and only for authorized purposes.

Retention

Operational and execution records are retained as needed for service operation, support, auditing, billing, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and plan tier. You may request deletion at any time.

When you uninstall the app, your operational data (schedules, logs, sessions, locks) is deleted. We retain a minimal billing record (shop domain, plan history, and coupon redemptions) to prevent free-trial and promotion abuse on reinstall. This record is permanently erased when Shopify sends the shop redaction request 48 hours after uninstall.

Your Rights and Controls

You may request:

• Access to the data we hold for your store
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Export of your store's data
• Deletion of your data

You can also disable schedule-notification emails in app settings at any time, or uninstall the app to end future processing required for app operations.

Email scheduleit@blkmagick.com with your store domain and request type. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Shopify Privacy Webhooks

Schedule It supports Shopify's required privacy webhooks, processed automatically:

• customers/data_request: customer data access requests
• customers/redact: customer data erasure
• shop/redact: shop data erasure after uninstall

Because Schedule It stores no customer (buyer) data, customer data requests and erasure requests are acknowledged with nothing to export or delete. Shop redaction permanently removes all remaining data for the store.

Security

We apply technical and organizational safeguards to protect service data, including authenticated access controls, encrypted transport (TLS), and operational monitoring. No internet service is guaranteed to be fully secure; we continuously improve controls and incident response practices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
